Las y los mejores, como el agua,
benefician a tod@s y no compiten.
Fluyen en sitios que la gente suele despreciar.
Poniendo a otr@s antes que a ell@s mism@s,
se encuentran ell@s al frente
y así se acercan más al Tao.
En su morada, aman a la Tierra;
en su corazón, aman lo que es profundo;
en relaciones personales, aman la bondad y la amabilidad;
en sus palabras, aman la verdad;
en el Mundo, aman la paz;
en asuntos personales, aman lo que es correcto;
en la acción, aman el momento oportuno.
Es porque no compiten con otr@s
que van más allá del reproche del Mundo.
